TV Season Premieres - Fall 2011
So it’s the season of the year again when our favorite shows return to our boob tubes sporting brand new seasons, freshly brewed plots, and jazzed up characters. Fall! Personally, I love watching these TV series unlike some Pinoy primetime shows which usually feature hardcore drama or overused storylines.
I download all episodes from EZTV.it so I can scan or refer to past eps. These are pretty much the ones I watch premiering this September:
- The Vampire Diaries, Season 3 (CW) - September 15
- Glee, Season 3 (Fox) - September 20
- Fringe, Season 4 (Fox) - September 23
- Gossip Girl, Season 5 (CW) September 26
and I think I’ll be adding:
- The X Factor US, Season 1 (Fox) - September 21
Meanwhile, the other members of the heap of shows I watch are either ongoing or done for this year (next seasons are in 2012):
- Awkward., Season 1 (MTV) - ongoing
- Game of Thrones, Season 2 (HBO) - April 2012
- Teen Wolf, Season 2 (MTV) - 2012
- The Voice, Season 2 (NBC) - February 2012
- Miranda, Season 3 (BBC) - 2012

One Heck of a Day
- We had another outing with some of my close friends from my class. We were supposed to meet up by 7.30 but ended up meeting by 9. The usual stuff, swim, laugh, kwento kwento. For the first time in, like, 2 weeks, I felt physically tired. I was sooo hungry by 6.30 in the evening so we went to the mall to eat. I ordered a big meal from Four Seasons and siomai from Master Siomai when ..
- I received a text message which hit me big time. I lost all the appetite to eat my food. :( I still ate it anyway and ended up feeling like vomiting.
- I reached home feeling all so emo, thus, this post.
- I RECEIVED A CALL from somebody who holds a position in the JPIA of a certain Local Chapter. It’s perhaps the biggest news I’ve received this month because it’s indubitably a very big opportunity. What a great way to start September! Unfortunately, I am bound by the Principle of Confidentiality as established by the Revised Code of Ethics for Professional Accountants. De, joke lang. The officer specifically instructed me not to disclose details of this news until Monday.
- Kuya Jod’s post. Very appreciative ako eh. :) Thank you ulit!
So, that was pretty much my day.
I’m excited, happy, nervous, frightened, uncertain, and most of all, thankful.

What was supposed to be an innocent trip to Bacacay, Albay for their town fiesta turned out to be a spontaneous yet exhilarating detour to a nearby resort. It’s a long weekend after all.

I and six of my friends first went to our classmate’s house to eat lunch (I skipped breakfast to accommodate the food). The place was rich with resorts — beaches and pools — so we brought extra clothes just in case we decided to go out for a swim. And go for a swim we did. No food, no cottage. We were just seven but we made the most out of the day.

We stayed there till 7 and rides to Legazpi City were scarce around that time. After about an hour of waiting we finally got a ride. We grabbed a Chowking Chao Fan for dinner and ate it on the way home, in a jeepney. I was conscious about what other people will think of us but my friends were oblivious, and yes, we were hungry as fuck.
I’m dead tired right now. Sleep sounds sooo good.
Wala pa ring pasok tomorrow. Yay.

thegozumshow asked: 14, 16, 25.
14. An Idol
Sir Ezra, one of the best Accounting professors I’ve had. He teaches with passion and discusses the lessons in a manner that can be grasped with ease. He is a friend to his students. Very intelligent; could’ve easily been a placer in the October 2008 CPA Board Exam if not due to health constraints. One of the kindest (and corniest. :D) persons I know.
16. My Relationship Status
At the brink of giving up.
25. Top five turn-ons and turn-offs
Turn-ons:
- Intelligent
- Bubble butt
- Good sense of humor; Laughs/smiles easily
- Smells good
- May sense kausap, katext, and/or ka-chat
Turn-offs:
- Wrong grammar
- Jejemon
- Foul-mouthed
- Too opinionated
- Feeler

My day revolved around the Debate Competition for this year’s CBEM Intramurals. I have been a member of the Accountancy department’s debate team for 4 years. It’s something I’ve loved since I chose Argumentation and Debate for my elective back in 3rd year High School.
We were four members on our team. Fien, a sophomore, our prime minister; me, the second speaker; Shela, a junior, the third; and Karlo, my classmate, our scribe. Karlo doesn’t really write down the contentions of the other side but he does listen with such scrutiny that he can offer us rebuttals on the spot. Either Shela or I should’ve been the prime minister but our past experiences as such were traumatizingly disastrous so we opted not to take on the task.
The first bout was between the Management and Economics department. The motion was “Social networking sites invades one’s privacy” or something like that. Didn’t get the exact words. It was boring. There was only one worthy opponent from Econ and none from Management. The former won.
The second bout was an easy win. Well, actually, there was no second bout. We won by default cause the group of the Entrepreneurship department didn’t show up. So, it was between us and Econ.
Our final bout had us on the Government side under the motion “Freedom of expression in artworks should be justified”. Obviously it was in reference to the CCP exhibit. I found the motion a blur because it was quite not debatable. Even the panel of adjudicators said it was an issue already resolved some time ago, and they were quite impressed with our audacity to argue.

To cut the story short, we won and I was fortunate enough to snatch the award for Best Speaker. I didn’t join any other event and I have the entire Intrams to enjoy. Great week ahead.

Good morning.

It’s the start of our 14-day vacay thanks to our Intramurals and the national and local holidays. F yeah.

Oh wait.
I spy with my little eye.
EMILY BLUNT IN THE DEVIL WEARS PRADA!
I saw Meryl Streep GIFs from the movie and I thought I’d download it cause I remember watching it back then. I went to Demonoid and found a decent torrent and I saw Emily Blunt amongst the screencaps.

I didn’t know her back then. Tss. Thanks to The Adjustment Bureau for introducing her into my life.
